Crevice, 2022

Digitally-manipulated analogue collage, magazine images and a eucalyptus leaf. 2” x3”

Projection based installation in a corner, with sound. 7’ x 10’ and roughly 10’ tall

Crevice (2022), is a projection and sound-based installation utilizing the architectural space of the corner to further distort an already manipulated form. By using traditional (analogue) collaging techniques, I was able to create various compositions of images in harmony with one another; in which I then used photoshop to duplicate and further abstract… changing the dimensionality of the piece. The title is meant to refer to both the corner of the projection but, also the ear canal being a crevice and tube-like pathway for the fly.
